Discover the winter wonderland of the National Park on cross-country skis - and do this as slow or fast as you would like.
10 different, perfectly-prepared slopes with a length of 45km are all waiting for you in the Wildkogel Arena. In the region, you can find every type of cross-country ski trail - from the easy, flat cross-country ski trails in the valley to the challenging cross-country ski trails with long climbs and steep slopes to the high-altitude cross-country ski trails with dreamlike views. The “Pinzgau cross-country ski trail” is a highlight, which enables you to discover the whole Salzachtal valley towards Krimml (with the world-renowned waterfalls) or in the direction of Mittersill and Zell am See. The journey back can be done on the cross-country ski trail, using the ski bus, or the Pinzgau local railway - however you like or your fitness levels still allow.
If you do not own your own cross-country ski equipment or do not want to bring your own with you, there are sports retailers in Neukirchen and the region, where you can rent or even buy it.
