The “5th Season of the Year” - the Harvest Festival.
Neukirchen and the state of Salzburg don't just have the usual 4 seasons of the year, but there are 5 here!
The “5th Season of the Year” is the Harvest Festival. - the time of harvesting and celebrating, of coming together and enjoying yourself. From the end of August to the start of November, you have the opportunity to get to know traditional, rural life during artisan demonstrations, hikes, cooking lessons, thanksgiving, the Alpine Cattle Drive (festival) and traditional events.
