An unforgettable experience
The Sulzbach valleys
The two Sulzbach valleys are famous for their natural and unspoilt beauty. There are hardly any more beautiful valleys for hiking and biking in the Hohe Tauern National Park.
The Obersulzbachtal is an approximately 13 km long, the Untersulzbachtal an approximately 12 km long side valley of the upper Salzachtal. Here you will find an uninhabited alpine region in the Hohe Tauern National Park. There are only a few alpine huts for animal husbandry. A few of them are managed - here you can get cool drinks, coffee, cakes and small dishes from our own production.
At the foot of the Großvenediger in the Wildkogel Arena, you hike in the catchment area of nine glaciers. Narrow valleys with steep flanks lead into the magnificent glacier area of the Großvenediger, the highest mountain in the province of Salzburg at 3,666 metres.
